Before following his passion for film while starting his studies at the London Film School, Lukas already had a master degree as a computer scientist as well as quite some experience as a producer on his credit. (...)
Burning with curiosity about life and people in the Far East, Lukas found himself working in Cambodia, China, India and Japan, while adopting a truly personal style to his work. Being fascinated by painting with light and shadow he created a whole range of visually gripping films for high end clients like IWC, Schweiz Tourimus or Sonova. Commercials that may be best described as touching deeply with purity, truthfulness and emotional authenticity while providing a big heart for subtle aesthetics. Swiss-born marathoner Lukas Wälli lives half a year in Los Angeles while traveling the other half - a lot.
